Taming of the Shrew Starts This Saturday! 

The world premiere of Taming of the Shrew hits the Silva Stage at the Hult Center this Saturday.

Ballet Insider, our new video-based format, gives Eugene Ballet fans an “insiders” look into each performance. You’ll learn more about the creation of this incredible music by world-renowned musicians located right here in Eugene and watch interviews with the choreographers. What’s Happening In The Lobby

1. Steampunk Costume Contest
   With two weddings portrayed in the ballet, the invited guests will attend in their steampunk finest. And Eugene Ballet invites all Taming of the Shrew patrons to don their steampunk fashions and participate in our costume contest! Special prizes will be awarded at both the Saturday evening and at the Sunday matinee shows, selected by very special judges with a keen eye for everything steampunk. Be sure to pick up and complete a contestant form/number at our table in the Hult Center Lobby when you arrive. Viewing and selection process will occur during intermission. Good luck!
2. Boutique
   We will be having an end of season apparel sale at our main lobby table. ALL Eugene Ballet apparel is available at a discounted price! We will also have autographed posters, and one of a kind, decorated pointe shoes available for purchase, and will be accepting cash and card.
