The Nutcracker is Here!
It’s finally here! After nearly five weeks on the road, bringing the joy and excitement of The Nutcracker to communities all across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, Eugene Ballet has landed in Eugene for the final weekend of performances – and what a weekend it will be.
First, thanks to the partnership with the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and Orchestra Next, we are opening the doors to our dress rehearsal by providing 1,800 tickets to low-income families and individuals. Each child attending the performance this evening will receive a gift bag with a chocolate from Euphoria Chocolate Company in addition to a few other souvenirs. Read more about this incredible event here.
Four performances will follow as more than 5,000 people attend The Nutcracker at the Hult Center (but don’t worry, tickets are still available)! Don’t miss the Nutcracker boutique for that special something to commemorate the evening and make sure to take a selfie in the sleigh!
If you choose to venture out on Christmas Eve, you’ll be treated to a free concert at noon in the Hult Center lobby featuring classic holiday songs played by a pianist, a brass quintet, and sung by the local children’s choir, Cantabile Collective. Of course, topping your afternoon off with a Nutcracker matinee will surely be the perfect way to start your holiday celebrations.
Tickets can still be purchased for any of our four performances online, in-person at the Hult Center Box Office, or by calling 541-682-5000. We hope to see you there!
