Meghan Rice

At age the age of twelve, Meghan started her training in South Florida with Magda Aunon. She continued her dance studies at Ballet East in West Palm Beach until joining Houston Ballet’s Academy in 2019. During Covid in 2020, she trained with Magaly Suarez. She then was accepted into Joffrey Ballet’s Trainee program in 2021 and trained there for two years. During her time at Joffrey she performed inVivaldi Fourth Movement by Gerald Arpino, Four Seasons by Christopher Marney, Stars and Stripes by George Balanchine, Don Quixote, and an newly created choreography Adagio Sostenuto by Yoshi Arai. She also had the opportunity to create two of her own works on the Joffrey Studio Company and Trainees, Redundant Reflections and Predatorial Prey. This is Meghan’s first season as an Aspirant with Eugene Ballet and she is so excited for the 2023/24 Season.
