Liz Warthen

Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro, Conditioning, Competition Teams

Liz Warthen began her dance training at age six at Gotta Dance Studio and Company in Bend, Oregon. She quickly found her passion for dance and began training in as many styles as she could. By age nine, Liz had made the competition team for her studio and began traveling to competitions and conventions throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her training as a competition dancer continued through high school, and she competed with The V!be Dance Studio throughout her adolescence. Liz began teaching her senior year of high school, and during her time at the University of Oregon, she started a competition program at a local studio in Springfield. This is Liz’s sixth year teaching dance and her second season with EBA. Her multi-disciplined background lends her to teach several styles for the academy, including Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch and Flex, Acro, and EBY Touring Teams. Liz is certified in Acrobatic Arts, which is an internationally standardized acrobatics teaching program. Liz is grateful to keep dance a part of her daily life and share her passions with the next generation.
