Antonio Lopez

Born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico, Antonio began his training at Ballet Repertory Theater of NM. Soon after, joined New Mexico Ballet Company. At 17, he studied under the direction of Marcia Dale-Weary at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. During his training at CPYB, Antonio performed works by Alan Hinline, Mathew Powell, Price Suddarth, and Balanchine’s Nutcracker and Western Symphony. Throughout his training he attended various summer intensives such as Joffrey Ballet NYC, Walnut Hill, CPYB, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet; all under full scholarship. Antonio has taught and guest performed across the Twin Cities of Minnesota while maintaining a company position with St. Paul Ballet, and later with Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota. Antonio is thrilled to begin his first season with Eugene Ballet.
