Selena grew up in Eugene, Oregon, where she trained with Eugene Ballet Academy for 14 years. For the 2021/22 season Selena danced as a pre-professional with Eugene Ballet Academy before graduating that summer. While dancing with the Academy she performed various roles in both Academy and Eugene Ballet productions including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Alice and Wonderland, and several more original contemporary and classical works. She was also a part of Eugene Ballet Youth, a touring group associated with the Academy, where she danced several solo roles and performed at local schools and retirement homes. In addition, Selena taught grades K–12 and choreographed for grades 10–12 with Motion Sensors Dance Troupe, a non-profit organization based in Healy, Alaska. She is very grateful to have also been taught and coached by several of our own Company dancers over the years. Selena is excited to start her second season with Eugene Ballet!
