Maddy began her training in the small town of Evansville, Indiana, and eventually competed at the Youth America Grand Prix, where she was invited to attend the New York Finals. After graduating from the Rock School for Dance Education in 2021, she went on to dance as a trainee with Cincinnati Ballet and New Orleans Ballet Theater. During her time as a trainee, Maddy had the opportunity to dance her first principal role as Kitri in Cincinnati Ballet Academy’s Spring Performance. She also performed alongside company dancers in productions including Septime Webre’s Alice (In Wonderland), Balanchine’s Serenade and Concerto Barocco, and most recently debuted a New Orleans original ballet, Dracula by Oliver Halkowich. Maddy is very excited to begin her first season as an Aspirant with Eugene Ballet.
