Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro, Conditioning, Competition Teams
Liz Warthen began dancing at age five and grew up training at several studios in Bend, Oregon. By age eight, Liz made the competition team at her studio and began traveling to competitions and conventions across the Pacific Northwest. Liz trained extensively and competed in Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Acro, and Musical Theatre. Liz began choreographing and teaching her junior year of high school through her studio’s teacher training program. While attending college at the University of Oregon, Liz continued teaching dance in various styles. In 2020 she founded a competition program at Identity Dance Company which she co-directed for two years. Liz has been with Eugene Ballet Academy since 2022 and teaches and choreographs in Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, and Touring Teams. She is certified in teaching and spotting Acro through the Acrobatic Arts curriculum. She loves traveling with the EBY Touring Teams and is so excited for the upcoming dance season!
