Brita grew up in Eugene, Oregon and began her serious training at Oregon Ballet Academy in high school. After graduating, Brita began her collegiate training at Butler University from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dance – Arts Administration and a minor in Business Administration in 2024. At Butler, she had the opportunity to perform leading and corps de ballet roles in full-length ballets such as Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Spring Fairy in Cinderella, Giselle, and Swan Lake. This will be Brita’s first season as an Aspirant with Eugene Ballet.
