Level 4X

Upon placement into Level 4X, students are expected to show emotional maturity in moving through technically challenging movements. Focus is placed on coordination of arm movements with the added intensity of the curriculum. As the level of difficulty increases, so does the pursuit of excellence. It is at this level that students often determine that they may wish to pursue a career in dance or increase their class load. Students in the 4X track will experience more classically inclined classes and must demonstrate strength in their pointe work at both the barre and in center work. Supplemental classes in conditioning, variations, and added pointe work help round out their curriculum and better prepare them for advancement toward a professional career in dance.
