Vivien Farrell


Born and raised in Vermont, Vivien trained for 12 years under the direction of Alexander and Kirsten Nagiba of Vermont Ballet Theatre. She has attended various summer intensives including Kirov Academy of Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Boston Ballet and BalletX. After attending their summer program at age 17, Vivien was invited to join Miami City Ballet’s year round pre-professional division. There she performed roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade and Square Dance, Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty, and was featured in an original work by Gerard Ebitz. The following year she furthered her training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. Vivien joined Eugene Ballet as an Aspirant in 2015 and has danced the roles of Fritz, Chinese Soloist, and Harlequinade in The Nutcracker. This is Vivien’s first season as a company member with Eugene Ballet.
