Born and raised in Vermont, Vivien trained for 12 years with Vermont Ballet Theatre. She attended various summer intensives including Kirov Academy of Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Boston Ballet and BalletX. At age 17, Vivien was invited to join Miami City Ballet’s pre-professional division where she had the privilege of performing various ballets by George Balanchine. The following year she furthered her training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary.
Vivien joined Eugene Ballet as an Aspirant in 2015 and continued as a company member in 2017. Her most recent roles include Ophelia in Stephen Mills’ Hamlet, Clara in The Nutcracker, and Love in Suzanne Haag’s world premiere of The Firebird.

2.) What is your favorite Eugene restaurant?
Bao Bao House is my newest restaraunt discovery. Best dimsum in town!
3.) What is your favorite pastime outside of rehearsal and performance?
My favorite thing to do outside of rehearsal is drive into the Cascades and venture to various mountain lakes.
