Investing in the Arts of Eugene Begins with a Commitment to a Vision
The 2020 Vision Campaign for the New Midtown Arts Center: Funding Eugene’s future home for the Arts
We invite you to join our campaign to complete the New Midtown Arts Center, a permanent home for the development, presentation, and celebration of arts and culture, and the dynamic hub for Lane County’s arts community, ideally located in the heART of Eugene.
The New Midtown Arts Center will serve as a foundation for established and emerging artists, showcasing excellent work and inspiring new collaborations. It will dramatically enhance our community’s canvas for artistic and educational programming, and provide a welcoming, inclusive setting for the celebration of the excellence and diversity of local arts, unleashing the potential of artists and increasing the capacity of our local arts organizations.
Construction of the new facility on the corner of 16th and Pearl is underway, and we need your help to fully fund the final $3 million needed to complete this important investment in the arts of Eugene, on schedule to be completed in December of 2020. Learn more about joining our campaign—which supports the administrative offices for nine of our community’s arts organizations, seven rehearsal studios designed to accommodate over 500 local performing arts students, and a Midtown Arts Endowment to support future programming and operations, please contact Eugene Ballet’s Executive Director Josh Neckels or visit MidtownArtsCenter.org.
Envision Your Future Home for the Arts
Co-Developed by Alex Haugland and designed by the Dustrud Architecture, the New Midtown Arts Center will bring together long-sought after downtown housing wrapped around an exciting, dynamic, sustainable hub of artistic activity and artful living, providing a signature destination for those in our community who support great art, authentic cultural experiences, and the positive impact of art on the youth in our community.
Create a Visible Legacy and Inspire our Youth
You can leave a visible and lasting legacy that serves as a daily inspiration for all of the youth in our community who participate in programming inside the New Midtown Arts Center by pledging your support to funding our 2020 Vision Capital Campaign for the Midtown Arts Center. We have many naming opportunities available that will help us realize our commitment to increase access to the arts in our community. We invite you to explore and learn more about our naming opportunities and how it aligns with your legacy plans and philanthropic goals.
