Heather trained with Clarissa Boeriu in Ventura, CA. She danced with BalletMet as a trainee in 2004, and joined Eugene Ballet Company as an apprentice in 2005, where she was featured in Gillmer Duran's Bachianas Brasiliaras. The following year she became a full company member. Midway through the 2012–2013 season she was promoted to principal dancer and debuted as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. In her eight years with Eugene Ballet Company she has danced many featured roles including The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Bluebird in Sleeping Beauty, Tiger Lily in Bruce Steivel's Peter Pan, and as Auguste van Daan in Mauricio Wainrot's Anne Frank. Heather has been featured in many works by Toni Pimble, including the Roasted Swan in Carmina Burana, the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, in the Unity pas de deux in Common Ground, as Polythene Pam in All You Need Is Love, and as Bagheera in Mowgli–The Jungle Book Ballet. Heather performed in Toni Pimble's iconic work Still Falls the Rain for White Bird's 4X4 Project in 2008, and competed in the 2009 New York International Ballet Competition.
