A native of Japan, Yoshie began her studies under Michiko Matsumoto. She graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg Russia and the aspirant program of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She was awarded first prize in the Ballet Competition for Youth in Japan. Yoshie has danced professionally with North Carolina Dance Theatre, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida and USA Ballet Company. Her roles include Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Don Quixote pas de deux, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. In June of 2013 she joined Takeru Anzai at the XII International Ballet Competition in Moscow, at the Bolshoi Theater as a non-competing partner.
