Takeru was born in Shizuoka, Japan. Takeru studied at Sho Anzai Ballet studio, Excel Studio and K-Ballet School in Japan and has danced with K-Ballet Company and Atlantic City Ballet. His repertoire includes Cavalier, Snow King, and Nutcracker in The Nutcracker, Dr. Van Helsing in Dracula, peasant pas de six in Giselle, pas de trois in Swan Lake, Rhapsody, Carmen and many other contemporary pieces. Takeru received second place in NBA all Japan Ballet Competition, second place in Machida all Japan Ballet Competition, first place in Matsudo all Japan Ballet Competition, third place in Saitama all Japan Ballet Competition, and third place in all Japan Ballet Competition. Last season Takeru was featured in the title role of The Nutcracker and the role of Mowgli in the world premiere of Toni Pimble's Mowgli–The Jungle Book Ballet. In June of 2013 he was invited to compete at the XII International Ballet Competition in Moscow, Russia, at the historic Bolshoi Theatre.
